Welcome to The Parent Teacher Supply Store!
We are located in Christiansburg, Virginia, home of the Virginia Tech Hokies. We are located at #5 Roanoke Street, which is off of Main Street in Downtown Christiansburg next to Treasured Memories Antiques. The Parent Teacher Supply Store is located in the Antique Corridor in downtown Christiansburg.

As a mother of two young children, and as a school district superintendent, I understand the lives of parents and teachers can be very busy. A parent is a child's first teacher. Therefore, The Parent Teacher Supply Store's mission is to provide a diverse offering of quality educational products, home school materials to extend learning at home and we strive to offer Christian materials to families who are seeking Christian products that are often difficult to locate. In addition to educational products, we are an affiliate with the Discovery Channel Store and you can order from their site at the bottom of this page. Our site is unique in that it allows you to create a wish list for birthday parties, teacher's gifts, student teacher celebrations, and classroom celebrations. This will enable shopping to be much simpler. Other features include free inspirational online greeting cards you can send to others.

As a free service, we have links within this site to educational websites for children, and links to articles for educators promoting social justice in the classroom. Enjoy your shopping experience with The Parent Teacher Supply Store and thank you for visiting our website.

Social Justice Articles

The purpose of the social justice section is to provide free online resources for educators who seek to create a socially just environment, which embraces an inclusive educational setting in a multicultural society.  The most significant academic gap deals with race, therefore, the focus of the online articles cover multiculturalism in the classroom.

Our Greatest Fear —Marianne Williamson

it is our light not our darkness that most frightens us

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,
talented and fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other
people won't feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of
God that is within us.

It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.

-Marianne Williamson
